Ken Johnson's career with the ISP began on February 14, 1960.  He had been electronics salesperson and the company was closing the store, so he needed to find a new job. Johnson was a Dispatcher at District 22-Ft. Wayne for 17 years when he transferred to the Weighmasters Division where he remained until his retirement in 1985. He says it was a great job and he really enjoyed it.

After his ISP retirement, he worked as a Power Production Supervisor on military contracts outside the US for 8 years and also worked as an Intelligence Analyst for the US Air Force Counter Drug Program, assigned to the DEA in Indianapolis and to the Allen County Drug Task Force.

Johnson has been an ITA member for many years and joined because he felt the ITA offered a voice for officers, as well as other benefits.  He has served in several capacities over the years, first representing retirees and currently as Vice-President/Treasurer.

He and his wife, Charlotte, live in Yoder, Indiana and are Florida snowbirds each winter.
